Coalescence, the 58th annual conference of the National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts (NCECA) takes place in Richmond, Virginia. Quirk Hotel and Gallery will host various ceramic exhibitions during the conference. An artist reception will be held on Thursday, March 21st from 5pm - 8pm.

BIJOUX - MIKE JABBUR: A collection of recent soda-fired pots, made with the home in mind. Utilitarian objects for daily use in domestic settings, informed by belief that interesting and beautiful functional objects help to transform otherwise routine activities into meaningful life-affirming moments.

NTERSECTIONALITY - ALLAN ROSENBAUM: With an eye towards reinvention, Allan Rosenbaum embarks upon open-ended experimentation, addressing new problems and seeking out something unfamiliar. This exhibition is a record of that process.
